The Return of naGGa, DaddyAlt Awakens
It was a hard decision to make when we decided to give naGGa some time off from the team, but at the time we believed it necessary. We brought in Hunni to try out on the position, but unfortunately, the constellation wasn’t just right. In that connection, we want to thank Hunni for his brief time with us. Returning to the starting lineup, is naGGa. Sometimes you don’t know what you want until it’s gone, and while things aren’t as simple, we’re not too proud…

naGGa benched, not out
Over the latest period of time, Nikolai "naGGa" Dereli hasn't lived up to what we've come to expect from him and his individual level of play. Therefore, we've decided to give him a break from the starting lineup, placing him on the bench. We want to emphazise that naGGa's attitude is spotless. He's working hard and is a great teammate. But we've also had to prioritize the players' individual abilities, and unfortunately we believe that naGGa isn't quite on par with the rest of the players…

Status post-Copenhagen Games: Overwatch
The newest addition to the organization, our Overwatch team, also played at Copenhagen Games, and the results were mixed to say the least. Going into the event, the team spent four days bootcamping alongside the CS:GO team at Ballerup Esport. Just prior to the bootcamp, former G2 manager and Splyce coach, Daniel Vorborg, joined our ranks as a temporary performance coach of the Overwatch team. Daniel since worked hard with the team to help them improve on everything: communication,…

Status post-Copenhagen Games: Hearthstone
It’s no secret that Copenhagen Games was far from the success we had hoped for it to be. We participated with both our CS:GO and our Overwatch team as well as our Hearthstone player, Janos. None managed to deliver satisfying results. The expectations for Janos at Copenhagen Games were quite high. Both the organization and Janos himself expected a great performance and an impressive result. Unfortunately, the young player didn’t quite meet those expectations.

Status post-Copenhagen Games: CS:GO
It’s no secret that Copenhagen Games was far from the success we had hoped for it to be. We participated with both our CS:GO and Overwatch teams as well as our Hearthstone player, Janos. None managed to deliver satisfying results. The CS:GO team had parted ways with in-game leader, Neon, just weeks before Copenhagen Games, thus being in a very precarious situation. We managed to get a deal with the Danish CS:GO star, Casper “cadiaN” Møller, making him a temporary…

Overwatch Arena Finals spot secured in convincing fashion
It’s been a couple of shaky months for the Overwatch team, getting used to play under an organization as well as losing a player, trying to find the proper replacement as quickly as possible. Yesterday, everything finally seemed to click. After beating Sick City in the final, we qualified for the Overwatch Arena Finals on April 20th. It’s a great accomplishment for us, as we get to go up against some of Europe’s finest, including Vivi’s Adventure (#7) and our Danish…

We part ways with Neon
As of today, we’ve felt it necessary to part ways with our in-game leader, Max “Neon” Mazur, due to internal issues. After struggling to fix our problems for some time now, the team has made the unanimous decision upon a breach of confidence between Neon and the rest of the team. “It's been a pleasure to work with Max. He’s been a great Flames player. It’s always sad to let people go, but in this case, it was the only solution,“ Steffen Thomsen,…

We renew our partnership with Elgiganten
We've renewed our partnership with Elgiganten. Elgiganten is the largest consumer electronics retailer in the Nordic countries, and we're thrilled to keep them onboard the Flames train. Why have you decided to continue the partnership with Flames? "Having evaluated our test period with Flames, there was no doubt that renewing the contract was the right thing to do for us. The results from all the Flames players should be reason enough, but it's…

Welcome, Mauz
After parting ways with Pachoot, we've been looking long and hard for a proper replacement, and now, he's finally here. Marcus "Mauz" Bjørndal has been added to the roster. He will be the team's new hitscan, and we can't wait to start the hard work as a completed unit. The team's coach, Kasper "Smokie" Johansen, believes that Mauz is the final piece to the puzzle and that we can expect a lot of great things to come from the team. "We began the tryout period testing out Mauz…
