Goodbye, HanseN

All good things must eventually come to an end. After a couple of very successful months for our Rocket League team, it’s time for a change.

After winning NetParty Herning a couple of weeks back, it was almost set in stone that 2017 was the year that the Copenhagen Flames Rocket League team would take it to the next level. And we will, just not with the expected lineup.

Thus, Jesper “HanseN” Hansen hasn't wished to extend his contract. He has left to join Sørby eSport, effected immediately.

“We respect HanseN’s decision, but of course, we’re upset to lose such a talented player. It’s been a great partnership, but now, it’s time to look to the future. The hunt for a sterling replacement has begun and we already have several tryouts planned. Reaching top 10 in Europe is still our goal and we plan to reach that goal this year,” Steffen Thomsen, owner of Copenhagen Flames says.

We want to thank HanseN for the months he’s been with us and wish him all the best in the future. Good luck, and we’ll see you on the pitch.
